With a few days to go in 2011, we’ve been thinking of resolutions. Someone once said that a New Year’s resolution is something that “goes in one (y)ear and out the other.” Do you make any resolutions? Are they public or private? Do you manage to keep any?
If eating healthier is one of your resolutions, we’ve got your back. We always strive to keep our meals fresh and local. If you are ordering food for a business lunch meeting or a gathering of friends, we can help provide options that are lower calorie or vegan or adhere to specific dietary restrictions.
If helping out your neighbor is one of your resolutions, then we are also of like minds. Carry Out Cafe is a proud supporter of many charities and non-profit organizations in the Greater Newburyport area. We welcome partnerships and think it’s important to give back to our community. Getting involved is not just good for others; it also is good for your own soul.
Good ol’ Ben, who was so good at coming up with catchy phrases, sums it up nicely:
Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man. ~ Benjamin Franklin
