… Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles…

How fun would it be to meet the real people behind the famous movie and musical?!
We won’t be having traditional Austrian streudel and schnitzel, but Carry Out Cafe is catering a Dinner with the von Trapps this Monday, Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Belleville Church in Newburyport, MA.

This Intimate Evening with the von Trapps is a followup event to the Belleville Roots Music Concert Series concert by von Trapp Children on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m.

The Sound of Music captured the hearts of millions when the film debuted in 1965. Now, 46 years later, the von Trapp’s family legacy is born anew. Sofia, Melanie, Amanda and Justin von Trapp, the great grandchildren of Captain von Trapp, continue the tradition of the family’s exceptional musical gift and love of singing, sharing songs and heart-warming family stories of life before and after coming to America.

Tickets are $60 and include appetizer, beverages (including wine), soup, salad, entrée, dessert, coffee/tea and the chance to mingle with the von Trapps! For tickets, please contact the Belleville church office Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 978.465.7734, purchase at www.mvarts.info or email [email protected] Ticket sales are limited but there may still be a few left!!
