If your friends and family haven’t polished off all your hard work from yesterday, you can extend the holiday foodwise over the next few days. Our family favorite is a Hot Turkey Gobbler: a slice of whole grain, wheat or white bread topped with stuffing, sliced turkey & (of course) gravy. Serve it with a side of mashed and cranberry sauce.

A Carry Out Cafe favorite is Thanksgiving in a Bite: turkey, stuffing, lettuce & cranberry mayo.

Or how about a nice Turkey Waldorf Salad: Large Diced Turkey, Grapes cut in half, Small dice of
apples with skin & celery. Make dressing – 1/2 mayo, 1/2 sour cream, then thin it with apple cider (or apple cider vinegar), add celery seed, white pepper & salt to taste. Served chilled on lettuce leaves with toasted rolls.
