wall-clocksThe Cafe will have a special event on Saturday, October 29th, when we host “Lunch with the Clockmaker” from 11 to 2 p.m. Ken Pearson of Time Machines Past and Present will be available to questions about the care and feeding of timepieces.

Ken grew up with clocks and eats them for breakfast but prefers the Carry Out Cafe for lunch (and is a regular here). We thought it would be fun to offer up his expertise to our customers. Stop by for a sandwich from the cooler or a cup of soup and find out more about your clock. He is ready to give you technical or historical information about your clock, whether it is merely a yard sale rescue clock or a treasured tall clock made by Daniel Balch before Newburyport became a separate town in 1764.

With many years of experience, Ken can provide full service antique clock and case restoration. Bring photos to show him or the clock itself, if it will fit on a table. He can help bring back your timepiece to its original beauty and accuracy.

Join us for this special event! For more information, contact Ken by email at [email protected].
