At Carry Out Cafe & Catering, we love building long-standing relationships with our clients. For the past five years, we’ve helped cater a New Year’s Day brunch and open house for a local literary couple who own a beautiful, art-filled home. The annual gala draws a large, friendly crowd that enjoys fine food.
We worked with the hostess to supplement the menu with new items as well as old favorites. This year, the invitation featured a sculpture of Buddha and the theme was Eastern cuisine with a French influence. Because the client is a talented cook as well, she made the salmon, roast beef and ham. We contributed passed hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, a grilled Vegetable Napolean, Tandoori Chicken with Tzatziki sauce, Chicken Liver Pâté with all the accoutrements (dijon & honey mustard, red onions, gherkins, capers, etc.), and Sesame Peanut Noodles. Desserts and coffee (not to mention some wine and juices) capped off this international feast.
So if you are seeking culinary enlightenment, want to spice up your annual party, or just want some guidance on food to match your theme, we are ready and willing to assist you. Give us a ring. Happy 2013!
